- sync data between POS devices and backend services when enabled

3. Offline and Local Data
Freecom POS may store data locally on your device so the POS can continue working even without internet connection.

Users are responsible for protecting their devices, performing backups, and managing access to their POS accounts.
4. Backend / SaaS Sync
If backend or SaaS sync is enabled, selected POS data may be transmitted to Freecom POS backend services for account sync, device monitoring, sales monitoring, user management, reporting, support, and diagnostics. If backend sync is not enabled, the POS may operate in standalone/offline mode.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No system is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention
